AAdvantage award travel may include redemption of miles earned through purchases of goods and services.

You must call American Airlines Reservations to book your reduced mileage award(s). A USD $15 fee applies to telephone reservations. In order to avoid additional fees, please ticket your reservation(s) at least 21 days in advance. Award reservations ticketed within 21 days of departure will incur a USD $50 or USD$100 AAdvantage Award Fee for the first award plus USD $25 for each additional award (regardless of when the reservation was placed on hold).

American Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection® carriers do not have restricted dates for award travel. Seats for award travel are limited, and may not be available on all flights. Flight awards are subject to AAdvantage program rules and restrictions.
