Summer Mexico, Latin America And Caribbean Checked Bag Limitations

In anticipation of increased holiday travel, excess, oversize, and overweight baggage will not be accepted on American Airlines and American Eagle flights for all travel to select Latin American and Caribbean destinations, between June 6 - August 25, 2009.

New U.S. domestic baggage fee

Customers who purchased U.S. domestic economy class tickets on or after May 12, 2008 may check one bag for
free and check a second bag for $25 each way for the second checked bag. Customers who purchase U.S.
domestic economy class tickets on or after June 15, 2008 will be charged $15
each way for the first checked bag and $25 each way for the second checked bag.
Our carry-on policy of one personal item (such as a purse or laptop bag) plus one bag remains in place.
BSP 100% E-Ticket requirement

Effective June 1, 2008, IATA eliminates the use of paper tickets for BSP Agents.
In situations where paper tickets are required, airlines will issue. This does not apply to U.S.
agencies or ARC reporting agencies.
