We offer two types of AAdvantage Airline Awards that make it easy to use the miles that you've earned to travel on any of our airline partners:
All-Partner Airline Awards - Awards that allow you to travel to and from your desired destination using any combination of our airline partners.
oneworld® Awards - Awards that allow you to travel to multiple destinations on a single award, including around-the-world journeys, using a combination of our ten oneworld Alliance partner airlines and their more than 20 affiliate airlines.

A Simple Way to Enjoy Award Travel
We've simplified the awards valid on AAdvantage Participating Airlines. We've also simplified the booking process when using your miles on these AAdvantage participant carriers.
Our awards eliminate the need for you to select your award based on airline, and instead allow you to select your award solely on destination.
You may claim an award valid between your desired cities that may be used on any participating airline. You can even use a combination of participating airlines to get to and from your destination!
Our combination of AAdvantage participant airlines can take you to over 800 destinations throughout the world.
Example 1: Round-trip award travel between New York and Tel Aviv - - outbound on EL AL and return on Iberia. Example 2: Round-trip award travel between London and Delhi - - outbound on British Airways and return on Finnair. Example 3: Round-trip award travel between Los Angeles and Bangkok - - outbound on Cathay Pacific and return on Japan Airlines. Example 4: Round-trip award travel between Miami and Santiago - - outbound on American Airlines and return on LAN.
You may, of course, always travel on American Airlines for any portion of the itinerary.
The list of awards and the miles required are shown in our All-Partner Airline Award Chart below (mileage amounts required to claim an award are shown in "thousands" - example: 30 equates to 30,000 miles).
Award travel on some airlines is subject to limited Embargo Dates.
†Travel between Australia and New Zealand may use the 'Wholly Within' one country award.
‡Maximum of two flight segments permitted.
All award seats are subject to capacity control by our partner airlines. Due to particularly high-demand on LAN's service between Santiago, Chile (SCL) and Sydney, Australia (SYD), award seat availability is extremely limited.
Participating airlines and schedules may change over time. If no participating carrier offers direct service between origin and destination zones, certain awards may be unavailable or multiple awards may be required.
