The UNICEF Change for Good® Program
|
Your unused currency can go a long way in UNICEF's Change for Good Program. Another way you can help children whose lives have been impacted by natural disaster, conflict and lack of basic education, nutrition, and immunization is through the Change for Good program. The next time you're traveling on an American Airlines flight between the U.S. and Europe, Japan, China, India, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay, you can donate any unused currency to this program. Just ask your flight attendant for a donation envelope anytime during the flight, and return it to any flight attendant prior to landing.
Of course, there is another option besides traveling on an overseas flight to donate your unused foreign currency. Members or eligible visitors at select American Airlines Admirals Club® lounges and Flagship Lounge® locations can donate unused currency in a specially marked UNICEF donation box. Donation boxes are available at the following locations:
- Atlanta
- Austin
- Boston
- Chicago-O'Hare
- Denver
- Frankfurt
- London Heathrow
- Los Angeles
- New York Kennedy
- New York LaGuardia
- Paris (Charles de Gaulle)
- Philadelphia
- San Juan
- Tokyo (Narita)
- Toronto (Pearson)
- Washington Dulles (IAD)
- Washington Reagan (DCA)
