Thanks to feedback from loyal customers like you, calling American Airlines reservations is now easier than ever. Now when you call, you will find enhanced features to help you keep tabs on your flight reservations.

Enhanced Voice Recognition Menu
Getting the information you need is only a "word" away! Our enhanced customer menu has added more intuitive keywords and features to allow you to simply ask for information rather than wait on a command menu. Then, the enhanced system will guide you through a couple of questions to get you to the right information quicker - saving you time. For example, if you want to get Flight Status information just say "Flight Info" or "Flight Information."

*Please note that Mileage Balance, Mileage Credit and Elite Status are services available only to members with a valid U.S. - based, 5-digit code listed in AAdvantage member profile.

You don't have to remember these - our helpful prompts will let you know what you can say and when. You can also say "help" when you need it.

"Remember Me" Feature
The Remember Me feature gives you a direct path to information on your upcoming trips when you call from your enrolled phones. All of this information is available within a few seconds at the beginning of the call, so you can get your personal flight information and be on your way.

Steps To Enroll
Enrolling in "Remember Me" is easy for AAdvantage members using our automated system.

Become an AAdvantage® member.
Make sure your phone numbers are updated on your AAdvantage Account.
Call 1-800-882-8880 (or your AAdvantage Elite phone number) from any phone listed in your AAdvantage Account.
Say "Remember Me" at the Main Menu.
Say "Enroll Now".
Provide your AAdvantage number and follow the remaining prompts.
The next time you call AA from any enrolled phone - Remember Me will immediately provide you with information regarding your upcoming reservations.
If you call within 23 hours of a scheduled flight, Remember Me will provide you with specific departure gate and status updates.
Use keywords such as "AAdvantage Account" or "More Options" for easy access to other information.

*Please note that zip code security for "Remember Me" is available only to members with a valid U.S. - based, 5-digit zip code listed in their AAdvantage Account.

Bypassing Flight Information
The new system is designed to address future flight information immediately - since that's what the majority of our members are calling about. But you can skip this information if that's not what's on your mind:

Say "No" when asked if you want help with future reservations. At the Main Menu, you can speak any of the keywords listed above.

To make sure that your information is current on your AAdvantage Account, log on to www.aa.com/myaccount. Then, select "My Information & Password" tab to see your profile and update our records if necessary.

New "Text Me" Feature!
When calling from an identifiable cell phone, and you are opted in to Remember Me or provided your AAdvantage number, and have a flight departing in the next 23 hours, you will be offered the option to have your flight information sent via text to your cell phone. We currently offer this feature to the following cell phone service providers:

Alltel		Sprint
AT&T		T-Mobile
Boost		US Cellular
CellularOne		Verizon
Nextel
