Award tickets change policy
- AA MilesAAver Award Travel Made Easier
American Airlines have announced the elimination of
the USD100 fee for changes to date and/or time on
milesAAver award tickets. MilesAAver awards, formerly
known as planAAhead awards, allow AAdvantage members
to claim award travel for fewer miles when planning

who make changes to the ticketed date or time of
their award travel will no longer be charged a USD100
fee for doing so. A fee will continue to apply for
changes to origin and/or destination airports on
ticketed award travel however. As always customers
can stand by at the airport for an earlier or later
flight on the same day they are ticketed to travel at no
additional charge. (Note: only applies to domestic
flights).
- Date and/or time changes:
Effective 21 April 2004 no change fee applies.
- Routing changes:
USD100.00 fee applies for routing changes if permitted.
Please contact American Airlines AAdvantage to verify
if rerouting is permitted.

- AAnytime award:
