Earning AAdvantage Miles
Alamo offers AAdvantage members 50 base miles per car rental day. All rentals eligible with the exception of free, complimentary, travel industry discounted rates and contracted tour rates. The car must be rented in member's name to earn mileage. Only one AAdvantage member per car rental will be credited with AAdvantage miles.

Using AAdvantage Miles

AAdvantage Car Rental Awards are stand-alone awards that allow you the freedom to supplement any trip with a car rental from thousands of locations.

To exchange AAdvantage miles for car rentals, please follow these steps:

Visit www.redeemAAmiles.points.com* to view redemption options
Request an award certificate for the desired travel ^*(charges apply to all transactions)
Allow up to two weeks to receive the award certificate
Once the award certificate is received contact Alamo to book your reservation

Missing Mileage Credit
Please allow eight weeks for miles to post to your account. To request missing mileage credit from this AAdvantage participant visit our Missing Mileage Credit section for specific instructions. Be prepared to provide additional information such as AAdvantage number, rental contracts, receipt copies, and specific travel dates.
