United States citizens require a valid Passport for travel to Germany.
A Visa is not needed for stay of less than 3 months.

Eastbound
Frankfurt Airport - Passengers arriving from the United States will clear Immigration and Customs and collect all checked baggage. Connecting passengers will proceed with their baggage to the Railway Station, which is a short walk from the arrival area. Passengers will follow the signs to Fernbahnhof/Long Distance Trains, Tracks 4-7.
Westbound
Passengers arriving at any of the German Railway Stations and holding a valid ticket can proceed to board the train. For track number, passenger should check the train departure listings. For any assistance, passengers should contact the "DB Service Point" at any Railway Station. Passengers arriving at Frankfurt airport Fernbahnhof/Long Distance Trains will proceed with their baggage to the American Airlines ticket counter in Terminal 1, Section C to check in for their connecting flight.

Checked Baggage and Boarding Passes
United States Departures - Baggage will be checked to Frankfurt and Boarding Passes will be issued to Frankfurt only. Passengers are responsible to collect all baggage, clear Immigration and Customs, and proceed to the Fernbahnhof/Long Distance Train Station to board train.
Checked Bag Charges may apply to any flight operated by American Airlines.
Classes of Service Offered
Deutsche Bahn offers First and Second Class service on all trains.
Pre-reserved Seats
Pre-reserved seating is optional. For pre-reserved seats, visit the Deutsche Bahn Web site www.bahn.de or contact the local "DB Travel Agency" at any Railway Station. The cost for a pre-reserved seat is 3.00 Euro per person/per seat. For further information or questions, passengers can contact the "DB Service Point" at any Railway Station.
Special Meals
Not offered on Deutsche Bahn rail services. Beverages and snacks may be purchased from a rolling cart or in the dining car.
Smoking Policy
Deutsche Bahn offers smoking and non-smoking areas on all rail services.
Fleet
Deutsche Bahn operates high-speed rail services within Germany.
Lounge Access
When traveling in First Class or Business Class on American Airlines, customers may use the Admirals Club® lounge on the day of travel.
AA passengers holding a First Class ticket may use the DB lounge and need to present their AA boarding pass. The DB lounge is located at Frankfurt airport Fernbahnhof/Long Distance Train Station, Cologne/ Koeln, Dresden, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich/Muenchen, Nuremberg/Nuernberg, and Stuttgart.

Mileage Accrual
Earn miles on American Airlines codeshare service operated by Deutsche Bahn. Your ticket must reflect an "AA" coded flight number. Just provide your AAdvantage number when you make your reservations or when you check in for your flight. View more information on rules for earning miles.

You can earn elite status qualifying miles, points, and segments that count toward AAdvantage Gold®, AAdvantage Platinum® and AAdvantage Executive Platinum® membership on American Airlines codeshare service operated by Deutsche Bahn. Award Redemption
You may not redeem mileage for travel on American Airlines codeshare service operated by Deutsche Bahn. Deutsche Bahn is not a participant in the AAdvantage program.
