American Airlines - Hawaiian Airlines Codeshare Service
American Airlines codeshares on Hawaiian Inter-Island flights between Honolulu and Lihue/Hilo/Kona/Maui; between Maui and Lihue/Honolulu; and between Lihue and Hilo/Kona.

Check-In Locations and Information
U.S. Gateways Mainland - Check in at the American Airlines ticket counter. Honolulu - Check in at the Hawaiian Airlines check-in counter. All other Hawaii Airports - Check in at the Hawaiian Airlines ticket counter.

Connections and Airport Transfers

Westbound
Honolulu - Passengers arriving from the U.S. Mainland will arrive in the Main Terminal in the central concourse. Airport signs will direct connecting passengers to the Wiki-Wiki shuttle bus or covered walkway to the Inter-Island Terminal.

Passengers arriving from Inter-Island flights will take the Wiki-Wiki shuttle bus or covered walkway from the Inter-Island terminal to the Main Terminal in the central concourse for American Airlines flights to the Mainland.

Services & Amenities

Checked Baggage and Boarding Passes
Check your baggage through to your final destination and obtain boarding passes for all American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines.

Please be advised that baggage fees and rules of the operating carrier apply for all AA* codeshare passengers.

Classes of Service Offered
Flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines offer First Class and Coach Class service on all Inter-island flights.

Pre-Assigned Seats
Flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines offer First Class pre-assigned seats and open seating in Coach class.

Special Meals
Hawaiian Airlines offers meal service on flights travelling between the islands and Mainland; however, Hawaiian does not provide meal service on interisland flights.

Smoking Policy
All flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines are Non-Smoking.

Fleet
Flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines include Boeing 717 aircraft on Inter-island services.

Lounge Access
American Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines do not currently have a lounge agreement that provides reciprocal lounge access for codeshare customers.

AAdvantage Information

Mileage Accrual
Earn miles on American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines when your ticket reflects an "AA" coded flight number. Elite Status Qualification
You can earn elite-qualifying miles, segments, and points that count toward AAdvantage Gold®, AAdvantage Platinum® and AAdvantage Executive Platinum® status on American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines when your ticket reflects an "AA" coded flight number. Award Redemption
You may not redeem mileage for travel on American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines. However, since Hawaiian Airlines participates in the AAdvantage program, you can redeem miles for travel on Hawaiian Airlines flights. Make reservations online via AA.com. To make changes to your American Airlines codeshare flight(s), call American Airlines Reservations at 1-800-433-7300 in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) and Canada. In Hawaii, call 808-833-7600. For all other locations, please contact your local American Airlines reservations office.
