- Cancun - Check in with Mexicana in the Main Terminal.
- Guadalajara - Check in with Mexicana in the Main Terminal.
- Mexico City - Check in with Mexicana at the International check-in area.
- Monterey - Check in at the Mexicana ticket counter in the Main Terminal.
- San Jose Cabo - Check in with Mexicana in the Main Terminal.
- Zacatecas - Check in with Mexicana in the Main Terminal.
- All Other Cities - Check in at the Mexicana ticket counter.

United States citizens require a valid Passport for travel to Mexico.

Departure Tax from Mexico is approximately 36.00USD.

Connections And Airport Transfers
Eastbound
Passengers arriving from the United States will clear Immigration at their first point of entry in Mexico.
Baggage will be through-checked and passengers collect their baggage and clear Customs at their final destination in Mexico.
Westbound
Passengers arriving at their first point of entry into the United States will clear Customs, collect all checked baggage and proceed to Immigration for clearance.
Passengers can re-check their baggage to their final destination and if holding a connecting boarding pass, will proceed to the connecting American Airlines flight. If passenger does not hold a boarding pass, they need to check-in with the American Airlines ticket counter.
Chicago O'Hare - Passengers arriving from Mexico will arrive in Terminal 5.

Service And Amenities
Checked Baggage and Boarding Passes
Baggage will be checked to final destination in Mexico and passengers will receive boarding passes for all American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Mexicana.
Checked Bag Charges may apply to any flight operated by American Airlines.
Classes of Service Offered
Flights operated by Mexicana offer Business Class and Economy Class service on all international flights.
Pre-reserved Seats
Available from 330 days prior to departure until 3 hours prior to departure in selected classes of service.
Special Meals
Dietary meals are offered on flights operated by Mexicana, provided meal service is offered. A minimum of 12 hours notice is required for all special meal requests.

Smoking Policy
All flights operated by Mexicana are Non-Smoking.
Fleet
Mexicana operates Boeing 767 and Boeing 757, Airbus A319 and 320, and Fokker 100.
Lounge Access
When traveling to or from Mexico City in Business Class on American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Mexicana or Mexicana codeshare flights operated by American, passengers may use the Admirals Club® lounge or Mexicana Lounge on the day of travel.
AAdvantage Executive Platinum® members may use the Admirals Club® lounge or Mexicana Lounge on the day of travel when traveling via Mexico City on an American Airlines, Mexicana or a codeshare flight operated by either carrier regardless of the class of service flown. AAdvantage Executive Platinum® members do not have access to Mexicana Lounge in Mexico City (MEX).
