Customers, who have purchased AA refundable fare tickets, may receive a full refund on wholly unused refundable fares or receive a full refund minus the applicable cancellation penalty associated to the refundable fare. Partially used tickets, the refund will be the amount paid minus the normal one-way fare applicable for the transportation used and any cancellation penalty fees associated with the refundable fare. Refunds are valid up to the validity of the ticket which is one year from the issuance date.
The ticketed flight reservation should be canceled prior to the ticketed departure time to avoid spoilage of the flight segment.
The ticket will be valid as follows:
Any fare difference must be paid and tickets must be reissued when the itinerary is rebooked.
