AA*/QF Qantas Airways Flight Incorrectly Loaded in GDS
Affected market is: Nonstop AA* LAXJFK/Nonstop AA* JFKLAX.
Due to a traffic restriction for AA*/QF 7366 JFKLAX and AA*/QF 7365 LAXJFK, Qantas will return a UC status on bookings made for the AA*/QF nonstop service. AA has reaccommodated the passengers to an AA prime flight closest to the schedule time ticketed,. An OSI message INTL ONLINE CONEX/STPVR TFC ONLY will be transmitted to the Pnr which generates a message to the booking source for notification. The booking source is responsible for notifying the customer, acknowledging the schedule change, and reissuing the ticket with SKEDCHG. Customers' tickets must match current flight information prior to departure for check-in.
AA*/EY - ETHIHAD Airways Bookings
ETHIHAD Airways (EY) will be migrating from their current reservation system, Amadeus, to Sabre. To avoid possible customer service issues, effective February 22, 2013, through February 25, 2013, AA will close all AA*/EY flights for sale. Please advise your customers that no new bookings or voluntary changes are permitted until all systems are working correctly. We will update you when the migration is complete and when all flights are open for sale so that you may assist your customers.
