TSA PreCheckTM/Global Entry Failures

Customers holding Global Entry numbers are reporting numerous failures while attempting to use the TSA PreCheck at the security lines and traveling domestically. TSA has informed us that a change was made to require an exact name match on Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD) in the DOCS Field in the PNR and the name on their Global Entry Card.

Most cases reported the full name, LAST/FIRST/MIDDLE, had missing information from the SFPD DOCS field in the Pnr. Please ensure that your customer for any current and/or future travel has the correct and required SFPD in each record. In addition, the customer should be advised to access their AAdvantage Profile via AA.com to update their SFPD and/or U.S. Customs and Border Protection Traveler Program member ID information to reflect the same as their passport. Failure to do so will result in a continued denial of access to the TSA PreCheck security lines.

Fraudulent Emails

Customers who received fraudulent emails appearing to be from American Airlines should be directed to Phishing Emails for more information.
