AA and Eagle Announce Details on Flight Reductions
June 25, 2008
Last month American and American Eagle announced a number of actions to help overcome near-term challenges and secure the companies' long-term futures. This includes significantly reducing flying and retiring a number of airplanes. Today American and Eagle announced schedule changes based on the capacity reductions that take effect in November. Ticketed passengers on cancelled flights may get refunds or be protected to the nearest AA / AE city. Read the press release here.

Unaccompanied Minor Charge Reminder

Effective May 21, 2008 the unaccompanied minor fee was increased to $100USD/CAD. For customers who made reservations prior to May 21, 2008 and request unaccompanied minor service for travel on/after May 21, the $75 USD/CAD fee will be honored.

TGU Airport Remains Closed through July
June 16, 2008
TGU airport will remain closed at least through July. AA has added capacity to SAP to accommodate passengers who still wish to travel. Booked TGU passengers will be rebooked on the closest available SAP flight to their original itinerary and the reservations will be updated. Agencies will need to provide the new itinerary to the customer including verifying any connecting flights meet minimum connecting times. The PNRs will begin appearing on agency schedule change queues shortly.
