GDS Booking Policy Regarding Mexico, Canada, Caribbean and Latin America

Policies regarding GDS bookings for Mexico, Canada, Caribbean and Latin America have been amended. View the letter to agencies outlining these policies.

AQ Ticket Acceptance by American Airlines

April 2, 2008

For 327 / AQ Tickets

1. If issued for confirmed travel on AA only, AA will honor the ticket for the confirmed AA flight shown on the ticket. *No Voluntary changes permitted*.

2. If AA is unable to gain control of an e-ticket customer must purchase a new ticket.

3. If intended for OA flights, INCLUDING AQ, tickets will not be honored by AA.  However, passenger may purchase a new ticket on AA and AA* in the appropriate inventory and the advance purchased will be waived.

For 001/AA Tickets and Tickets Issued by Third Parties:

Routine involuntary procedures apply. 

Interline Reservations Procedure

AA Reservations or the appointed travel agent will rebook the replacement AA segment in a PNR and include the remark: " 5H-INVOL REROUTE/AQ SUSPENSION OF SVC MAR08"
