Brussels Reduction of Service

American Airlines will discontinue ORD-BRU service effective November 6, 2011. American will continue to serve BRU via JFK with daily year round nonstop service as well as in conjunction with oneworld partners British Airways and Iberia. American will be contacting all passengers to make alternative travel arrangements for them where possible or if alternative travel arrangements are unacceptable to the customer a full refund will apply. American Airlines apologizes for the inconvenience that this decision will cause.

We are watching closely the sytem weather as we currently have tropical storms and a tropical depression. Below are the recent forecasts for Tropical Storm Katia and Tropical Storm Nate:
- Tropical Storm Katia - In the Atlantic Ocean and is forecast to continue to move north parallel between the U.S. and Bermuda.
- Tropical Storm Nate - Located in the Gulf of Mexico off of the northwest coast of the Yucatan Peninsula and moving very slowly.

Tropical Storm Katia
In the Atlantic Ocean and is forecast to move northwest and miss the Caribbean Islands.
Tropical Storm Talis
Will make landfall Friday in southern Japan with no ancipated impact to operations.
Tropical Depression 13
Located in the northern Gulf of Mexico andy may become a tropical storm. Expected to approach the coach of Southern Louisiana during the Labor Day weekend.
