John T. Hutchinson
Senior Vice President – Finance & Planning & Chief Financial Officer, American Eagle Airlines
John T. Hutchinson was named Senior Vice President – Finance and Planning and Chief Financial Officer for American Eagle in January 2006. Hutchinson oversees American Eagle’s finance, planning and marketing functions.
A 17-year employee of AMR Corporation, Hutchinson previously served as Vice President of Finance for American Eagle in 2001 and 2002. He was Managing Director of Corporate Development for American Airlines prior to returning to Eagle in 2006.
Hutchinson joined AMR in 1989 and served in a variety of roles at AMR including: Senior Financial Analyst, SABRE; Contract Administrator, Flight Service; Principal, Corporate Development; and Managing Director, International Planning.
Hutchinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Spanish minor from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
