Peter Warlick was named Vice President and Treasurer in March 2013. Peter is responsible for American’s debt and equity financings, derivatives programs including fuel hedging, banking, corporate insurance and risk management. He is also responsible for American’s fleet development and execution initiatives including fleet planning and analysis, acquisition, leasing, integration and disposition of new aircraft as well as oversight of certain large scale fleet modifications programs.
Peter joined American in 1994 as a Financial Analyst in Financial Planning. He was appointed Managing Director-Treasury in April 2006.
Recent key accomplishments include approximately $6 billion in financings arranged since 2009 and several billion dollars of financings arranged earlier in the decade in connection with American’s on-going balance sheet repair.
Prior to joining American, Peter held a number of positions in investment banking. He earned an Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree from Denison University.
