Qantas, American Deepen Commercial Ties

Qantas, American Deepen Commercial Ties

In the latest in a series of moves by Qantas and American to deepen commercial ties between the two airlines, the two airlines filed for regulatory approval for a joint business agreement on their services between Australia/New Zealand and the United States, within these regions and beyond to third countries.

If approved by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the U.S. Department of Transportation, the agreement would enable the airlines to cooperate more closely than they are currently allowed.
