Elite Status Mileage Bonus
AAdvantage Gold members receive a 25% mileage bonus; AAdvantage Platinum and AAdvantage Executive Platinum members receive a mileage bonus of 100% on the base or guaranteed minimum miles for eligible flights on American Airlines, American Eagle^®, AmericanConnection^® and select airline partners. Minimum Mileage Guarantee
As an elite status member, you will earn 500 minimum miles for flights under 500 flight miles on applicable routes.

Reservation Assistance

Elite Service Desk Access
Each AAdvantage elite status level has its own Service Desk to provide you with personalized attention. Representatives are available to assist you with reservations, upgrade purchases and requests, award claims, AAdvantage account inquiries and customer service.

Main Cabin Extra
Our Main Cabin Extra product offers more spacious seating with four to six inches of additional legroom when compared to a standard Main Cabin seat. Located in the front of the cabin, Main Cabin Extra seating allows easier boarding and deplaning, and will be available on our new Boeing^® 777-300ER aircraft.  As an AAdvantage elite status member, you will receive complimentary access to Main Cabin Extra seating.**

Preferred Seats
Preferred Seats (standard legroom seats, more favorably located throughout the cabin) are still available on most flights in addition to the Main Cabin Extra seats. As in the past, we set aside a number of these seats on every flight for premium* customers and anyone traveling on full-fare Economy Class tickets. As an elite status member, you have complimentary access to Preferred Seats. Preferred Seats will be available for purchase 331 days prior to departure by most other customers. Although the benefit varies by carrier, you may also have access to preferred seating on oneworld^®: member airlines.

*Includes AAdvantage^® elite-status and AAirpass^® members, as well as oneworld elite-status members and those traveling with them in the same passenger reservation.

** AAdvantage Gold members will have complimentary access to Main Cabin Extra seating through December 2013.

AAdvantage Executive Platinum and AAdvantage Platinum members also have access to preferred seating on Alaska Airlines.

Guaranteed Economy Class Availability
AAdvantage Executive Platinum members and one companion may book full-fare Economy Class seats even on sold-out American Airlines, American Eagle and AmericanConnection flights when you make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance. (excludes codeshare flights).

Top Priority When Waitlisted for Purchased First or Business Class
If we cannot confirm a First or Business Class seat on your preferred American Airlines flight, AAdvantage Executive Platinum members will be placed at the top of the waitlist for the next available seat. Please call at least 24 hours prior to flight departure for this service. If you have not received confirmation prior to your arrival at the airport, you may ask the airport agent to place you on the standby list.

Waived Ticketing Service Charge
The service charge which normally applies to tickets issued by AA Reservations, an Airport Agent, or at one of our Travel Centers, is waived for Executive Platinum members traveling on revenue or AAdvantage award tickets.

PriorityAAccess^SM Privileges
PriorityAAccess is the name of a group of privileges and services offered to our AAdvantage elite status customers at the airport. For more information, visit www.aa.com/priorityaaccess.

PriorityAAccess Check-In and Exclusive Security Screening Lanes
Your AAdvantage elite status helps you bypass lines at the airport. AAdvantage Executive Platinum and AAdvantage Platinum members may check in at any First Class check-in position, regardless of the class of service in which you are traveling on American Airlines. AAdvantage Gold members may check in at any Business Class check-in position (in airports without Business Class check-in, you may use First Class check-in). We also invite you to use our exclusive security screening lanes at select airports. Simply look for the PriorityAAccess signs to locate dedicated check-in counters and security screening areas at airports around our system.

Flagship Check-In at London Heathrow
At London Heathrow airport, AAdvantage Executive Platinum members are invited to use the exclusive Flagship Check-In area located in Zone H. AAdvantage Platinum and AAdvantage Gold members traveling in Economy Class from London Heathrow are invited to use PriorityAAccess check-in counters in Zone B. Learn more about check-in options.

PriorityAAccess Boarding
As an AAdvantage elite status member, you will be among the first to be invited to board and may use our PriorityAAccess boarding lanes. We will begin by inviting our First Class or Business Class passengers onboard, along with our AAdvantage Executive Platinum members, followed by our AAdvantage Platinum members, and then all other PriorityAAccess customers. Should you arrive at the gate after PriorityAAccess customers have been called, you may bypass the General Boarding lines and enjoy the convenience of boarding anytime via the dedicated boarding lane. Priority Check-In and Boarding on Alaska Airlines
As an AAdvantage elite status member, you will have access to priority check-in and boarding when traveling on Alaska Airlines. In addition, AAdvantage Executive Platinum and AAdvantage Platinum members have access to expedited security lanes. Learn more about checking in on Alaska Airlines.

Same-Day Standby
AAdvantage elite status members have the option to standby for a different flight on the day of travel when flying within and between the U.S., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada and international points in the Caribbean, at no charge.

Priority Baggage Delivery
AAdvantage Executive Platinum and AAdvantage Platinum members will experience Priority Baggage Delivery. Upon check in, your luggage will be tagged with branded Priority bag tags. And when you arrive at your destination, your bags will be the first ones delivered to the baggage claim area, allowing a swift, convenient exit from the airport. Waived Checked Baggage Charges
AAdvantage Executive Platinum members may check three bags free of charge, AAdvantage Platinum and Gold members may check two bags free of charge (within current size and weight limits) when traveling in the Main Cabin on American Airlines within the United States and for travel to and from certain locations in Europe to the United States and U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. AAdvantage elite status members and customers booked in the same reservation are also entitled to two checked bags at no charge (within current weight and size limitations) when traveling on Alaska Airlines. Learn more about benefits on Alaska Airlines.

oneworld Alliance Benefits

All AAdvantage elite status members are entitled to priority check-in, preferred seating, priority standby and wait listing when traveling on oneworld airlines. Additionally, AAdvantage Executive Platinum and AAdvantage Platinum members have access to the Business Class lounges of all oneworld airlines on the day of travel when you are flying internationally,* as long as your continuing flight is marketed and operated by a oneworld airline. AAdvantage Executive Platinum members also have access to the First Class lounges and may check one additional bag for free or, if your ticket mentions a weight allowance, an extra 44lbs. when you fly on oneworld airlines on eligible flights**. AAdvantage Award Travel Benefits

Waived AAdvantage Award Processing Charge
When you are requesting AAdvantage awards within 21 days of departure, AAdvantage award charges will be waived for AAdvantage Executive Platinum, AAdvantage Platinum and AAdvantage Gold customers when using miles from their account.

Waived Ticketing Service Charge
The service charge which normally applies to tickets issued by AA Reservations, an Airport Agent, or at one of our Travel Centers, is waived for AAdvantage Executive Platinum members traveling on AAdvantage award tickets.

Waived AAdvantage Award Ticket Change and Reinstatement Charges
Charges associated with reinstating a fully unused award ticket that has not expired are waived for AAdvantage Executive Platinum members. In addition, confirmed changes to an eligible origin or destination on a MileSAAver^® award are waived for AAdvantage Executive Platinum members when the miles are claimed from their account. Changes to an eligible origin or destination on AAnytime awards are allowed at no charge for all members.

Expanded Award Seating Availability
As an AAdvantage Executive Platinum member, you have exclusive access to additional MileSAAver award seating availability on American Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection flights for you and one companion. While this is not a guarantee of available seating, it does provide more flexibility when you are traveling on a MileSAAver award. This option is only accessible by calling the AAdvantage Executive Platinum Service Desk.

Complimentary food and drink in the Main Cabin
AAdvantage Executive Platinum members can enjoy a complimentary* beverage from our standard alcoholic selections as well as one of our snacks or meals, where available, when flying in the Main Cabin onboard American Airlines and American Eagle.
