American Airlines to discontinue service between Stansted and New York JFK


American Airlines has announced discontinuation of service between London Stansted and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) with the last flight departing Stansted on July 2nd 2008.

American Airlines will continue to offer its full schedule between London Heathrow and New York JFK. American offers up to 18 daily departures from London Heathrow to seven US gateway cities: New York JFK, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth,
Los Angeles and Raleigh/Durham.

Customers impacted by the schedule changes will be contacted by American Airlines to rearrange travel plans on alternative flights.

American Airlines apologises for any inconvenience caused.
