American Airlines has been named Best North American Airline for the fourteenth consecutive year at the 2006 Business Traveller
Awards. The award was presented to American Airlines by former astronaut, Buzz Aldrin.
Business Traveller magazine presents its awards based on findings of its annual survey of its readers, who represent some of
the world's most discerning, affluent, and frequent international business travellers.
Maria Sebastian, American's London based Managing Director Sales and Marketing Europe, Middle East and Africa, collected the award.
"It is a real honour for us to receive this award", she said. "American is committed to becoming the industry leader for
its premium services and with the forthcoming introduction of our new business class cabin we hope customers will soon enjoy
an even higher level of service. Winning this award is a credit to American and its employees."
