Celebrate Women's History Month!
This month, while we celebrate women’s history with names and events that have shaped our society, we encourage you to venture into uncharted territory and make your own history. Try skiing down one of the nine slopes world-class skier Stacy Cooke and Olympic athlete Keely Kelleher suggest in our Getaway Feature. Or venture to take your family on the best spring break vacation ever this year with our helpful tips and suggestions. We also highlight philanthropist Pat Smith, a woman who lost her mother at an early age to breast cancer, and who went on to become the first African-American Miss Virginia USA, runner-up to Miss USA, and start the Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities with her husband, the Football Hall of Fame running back for the Dallas Cowboys. We also talk to this year’s winner of American Way’s Road Warrior contest, Caryn Carson, and runner up, Amy Zimmer.
AA.com/women, the airline industry’s first web page dedicated solely to women, continues to provide a place for women to explore travel opportunities, discover new adventures, book their next voyage, or share their travel experiences. The site features a list of valuable travel tips, ideas for new destinations, special deals and offers, and business tools such as a booking module. We are excited to offer the interactive forum so you, the woman on the go, can tell us what you think. Let us know how we’re doing and don't forget to send us your stories. We look forward to hearing your travel suggestions. Simply click the purple Forum button below and share.
Thanks for visiting.
