More recently, American Airlines has reached out to other celebrity chefs, such as Richard Sandoval, Marcus Samuelsson, Sam Choy, Maneet Chauhan, and Cindy Hutson, who possess strong regional culinary skills. American Airlines has collaborated with these chefs to create tempting entrées that will satisfy you in-flight. Below, each chef has shared a recipe of one of their items that is flown on American Airlines, which now you can re-create at home.

Chefs' Conclave
Since 1988, American Airlines has enlisted the expertise of prominent, well-respected chefs to help define the direction of its in-flight food service. The Chefs' Conclave, as it is known, has influenced American Airlines menus by creating exciting, flavorful selections. From the beginning, these chefs were instrumental in developing American's food philosophy. Their advice - balance menus toward healthy, lighter fare, and do only what can be done well in-flight.
Today, with the guidance and talent of the Chefs' Conclave members: Nancy Brussat of Convito Café & Market (Wilmette, IL), Dean Fearing of Fearing's Restaurant (Dallas, TX), and Stephan Pyles of Stephan Pyles (Dallas, TX), the American Airlines food and beverage program continues to delight.
