Meet the American Airlines employee who developed this menu cover

Meet Ricky Richardson, our featured artist.
This photograph was taken on a recent trip to Southern Brazil, on the banks of the “Rio Branco” river which borders the countries of Brazil and Uruguay.
Photography has been my passion for over 3 decades now. Capturing one of a kind images is one of the things that I love most. The light that falls on a subject is one of the first things that attracts me to a scene to photograph it. Often time it is the determining factor in whether or not I photograph the scene. It is an honor to share with others what I have seen and a blessing to know that others can get a sense of the place by viewing the photographs that I have taken. I have had several award winning images in the last few years and that has encouraged me even more to pursue this passion of photography to its fullest potential. I am grateful for the gift that I have been entrusted with and will continue to share it with the world. I encourage everyone to use the gift that is uniquely theirs, to the fullest. After all I believe it was given to them for the benefit of others.
I have been employed with American Airlines for over 25 years. Currently I am residing in North Carolina, where I am enjoying my life with my wife of 19+ years and our son who is now 6 years old. More of my work can be seen at www.InspirationalLight.com
