Cabo San Lucas Update

SJD services operated by both US Airways and American Airlines are now cancelled through October 17.

At this point, no decision has been made on operations to/from SJD for October 18 and beyond and all services still show operating. We are waiting for further updates from the hotels on their expected re-opening dates in the coming weeks.

American Airlines is operating today, Friday, Sept. 19, two flights from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) to help bring our customers home who are still in Cabo as a result of Hurricane Odile. Yesterday, Thursday, Sept. 18, American and US Airways operated seven flights from SJD airport. American is also flying in and donating humanitarian supplies.

Schedule for Friday, Sept. 19
American's schedule is as follows (all times local):

FlightDepart SJDArrive DFW
92088:45 a.m.12:25 p.m.
92099:45 a.m.1:25 p.m.

Safety is always our top priority, and local operational needs may impact our schedule.

At this time, only U.S. citizens and permanent residents will be allowed on the flights back to the United States. The U.S. Consulate will be at SJD airport to verify documents. Local authorities will direct others to either military or local air carriers. It is up to local authorities to determine who will be allowed on the flights. As a result, no reservations can be made on these relief flights.

Please check aa.com and Twitter @AmericanAir for the latest information. To view American and US Airways Travel Policy for travel to/from/through Los Cabos, visit:http://www.aa.com/i18n/travelInformation/travelAlerts.jsp#!travelPolicy.
