American's transcontinental service between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles or San Francisco offers you a choice of three classes of service on our spacious, wide-body 767-200 aircraft.
In First Class, you'll enjoy the exclusive comforts of a dedicated cabin. The wide leather seats in a 2-1-2 configuration recline to 60 degrees so you can rest with plenty of room to stretch out. Each seat also has a personal storage bin at the seat front for small carry-on items, in a addition to the overhead bin.
The Business Class cabin has 30 seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, which feature fully adjustable headrests and leg rests. Each seat reclines to 50 degrees, providing greater comfort than even conventional domestic First Class seats.
Entertainment
A personal entertainment media player offers First and Business Class passengers digital entertainment with maximum portability. Featuring a wide, 7-inch, high-resolution touch-screen display, it helps you navigate through menus easily. Offering up to 28 feature films, over 15 hours of pre-loaded television and news programs, 30 music CDs, 16 audio channels and a variety of games, we can keep you entertained. For a current description of the entertainment you will find onboard, visit www.aa.com/movies.
First and Business Class customers will appreciate the new Bose® QuietComfort® 15 headphones. They deliver an unmatched combination of noise reduction, audio performance and comfortable fit using a lightweight, around-the-ear headphone. The headphones electronically identify and reduce noise more than ever before while faithfully preserving the music, speech or silence you desire. It's a combination of benefits unmatched in the industry.
The 767-200 fleet is equipped with Wi-Fi access onboard. You will have complimentary access to all AA.com has to offer to book flights, hotel and car rentals, check your AAdvantage® account and more. Gogo in-flight internet service can provide you with full broadband web, VPN and e-mail access, so you can stay connected during your flight. To learn more visit www.aa.com/wifi.
Dining
First and Business Class food service features American Classics, which are popular entrees from menus past, redefined with a modern twist. A sample dinner entree is a grilled beef filet with a shallot and caper demi-glace, served with mashed potatoes, carrots, squash and red onion. And for dessert, customers may enjoy our ever-popular ice cream sundae. Signature baked-on-board cookies are even served mid-flight.
Award-Winning Wine Program
To complement the onboard dining experience, we collaborate with classically trained winemaker and viticulturist Ken Chase, who selects fine wines from our award-winning cellar. He pays careful attention to how wines are paired with menu offerings and factors in the ethnic, cultural, seasonal and stylistic differences of each destination. Menus highlight the variety of wines available onboard and also feature the grapes which comprise each wine. Our award-winning wines have been recognized by Business Traveller and Global Traveler magazines and USA Today. For more information visit www.aa.com/wine.
Admirals Club® Lounge
Customers travelling transcontinental full fare in First Class and Business Class also receive complimentary access to the Admirals Club lounge on their day of travel. For business or pleasure, you will appreciate an oasis of peace - away from the airport hustle. In our Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York JFK lounges, you'll enjoy complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Wi-Fi, cyber cafes, business centers equipped with PCs, copiers and global printing are also available.
