Q: Will people traveling with me be eligible for these benefits as well?
A: All companions booked in the same reservation (up to 9 passengers) with an AAdvantage elite status member will be eligible for the same benefits, including the waived checked baggage charge.
Q: If I booked my trip prior to October 26, will I automatically receive these benefits on Alaska Airlines?
A: If you booked your trip prior to October 26, your AAdvantage number will need to be re-added to your reservation in order to be recognized by Alaska's systems. Contact American Airlines reservations or your AAdvantage Elite Service Desk for assistance.
Q: Does it matter where I check-in for my flight?
A: As usual, if you are traveling on a flight operated by another airline, you will need to check-in with the operating airline.
Q: Do these benefits still apply if I am traveling on a flight booked as an AA flight number, which is operated by Alaska Airlines?
A: Whether your trip is booked as an AA flight number or the AS flight number, these benefits will apply.
