American Airlines new codeshare agreement with OpenSkies gives you more travel options when flying to and from Europe. By allowing American to place its code on OpenSkies flights, American is able to provide our customers with nonstop service when flying between Newark Liberty International Airport and Paris Orly Airport.
Now when you fly from Newark to Paris and book under the American Airlines flight number, you can earn AAdvantage miles on OpenSkies, a premium subsidiary of British Airways, a member of the oneworld® alliance.
Launched in June 2008, OpenSkies offers nonstop flights with an innovative cabin, personalized services and comfortable seating. The Boeing 757-200 aircraft offers a unique two-cabin configuration offering customers the option of fully-flat beds or roomy seats that recline 140 degrees.
As a premium subsidiary of British Airways, OpenSkies will ultimately become part of the enhanced relationship that already exists between American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia effective Jan. 1, 2012; bringing customers traveling on any of the four airlines greater benefits and access to more than 400 destinations in over 100 countries.
