In order to be eligible to earn bonus miles you must be a new Reliant Energy customer and enroll in a Reliant Energy plan with American Airlines AAdvantage miles. Bonus miles under this plan will be posted only to active AAdvantage accounts for customers whose electricity accounts are current. Once your enrollment is confirmed, a one-time enrollment bonus of 2,500 miles will be awarded and 500 miles will be posted on a monthly basis thereafter for the remainder of your 14-month term. Please allow six to eight weeks for the miles to appear in your AAdvantage account. The first and last names on your Reliant Energy account must exactly match the first and last names on your AAdvantage account in order to earn miles.
