U.S. DOT Grants American and Japan Airlines Tentative ATI Approval
American Airlines and Japan Airlines received tentative approval for antitrust immunity and to form a joint business between North America and Asia from the U.S. Department of Transportation today.
This tentative approval completes another step in the regulatory approval process. Final approval from the U.S. Department of transportation and approval from the Japanese government are still needed.
