- American Airlines personalized luggage tags are for display purposes only. Luggage tags are not meant to enable the check-in process or provide access to benefits associated with AAdvantage elite status or entrance into the Admirals Club lounge. They may display the owner's name up to 23 characters (including spaces), and do not show the customer's address or AAdvantage account number.
- AAdvantage elite status luggage tags may only be ordered by customers holding the corresponding elite status level.
- American Airlines personalized luggage tags can be shipped within the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
- Luggage tags are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
