American Airlines operates a number of clubs and lounges worldwide. At Zurich Airport eligible customers can use the Skyview Lounge provided by Dnata, where you can relax and unwind before your flight.
Location & Opening Hours
Located in Terminal 2 on the 3rd floor of the Airside Center
Open Monday - Friday and Sunday from 06.30 - 21:30 and Saturday from 06:30 - 20:00
Lounge Access
You can access the lounge if you are one of the following:
- American Airlines Business Class passenger
- AAdvantage Platinum or Executive Platinum member
- oneworld Emerald and Sapphire tier members on an a flight operated by a oneworld member airline.
Guests
AAdvantage Executive Platinum / AAdvantage Platinum or oneworld Emerald / Sapphire members flying on a oneworld airline may bring one guest.

Transferring between flights is simple when you know how. Take a look at the tips below that will help you make a smoother connection at Zurich Airport.
Where do I go once I’ve arrived at the airport?
Once you've arrived at Zurich airport, follow the marked signs on how to connect which will lead you to the correct gate for your onward flight.
What happens if I do not have a boarding pass?
If you do not have a boarding pass you will need to see an American Airlines representative at the transfer area adjacent to gate E35.
Do I have to pick up my luggage or re check-in again?
If your bags have been labelled to your final destination and you were given a boarding pass for your onward flight then your luggage will be taken care of.
How do I get between Terminals?
If connecting to or from Gate area E, take the Skymetro (train), which operates every 3 minutes and takes approximately 3 minutes.
You can walk between A and B gates.
Which Terminal do I fly from?
At Zurich airport American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia depart from Terminal 2 Area 2.

XClose Travelling To / From Zurich Airport
When travelling to the airport, please allow yourself plenty of time. To help you on your way we have some travel suggestions below, but please check with the relevant operator before setting off to ensure you have the most up to date information.
Bus
Bus routes connect Zurich Airport with the main cities in Switzerland.

Car
The airport is located at the heart of Switzerland with an excellent road network to the main cities, including Zurich, Bern, Basel and St Gallen.
The roads outside Terminals 1 and 2 are for picking up and dropping off passengers only, with a maximum parking time of ten minutes.
Short and long stay parking is available.

Taxi
Airport taxi ranks are located in front of Arrivals 1 and 2. A taxi ride from Zurich Airport to Zurich city centre costs take around 20mins.
Train
There are 6 trains an hour in each direction between the airport rail station and Zurich Main Station, journey times is approximately 10 minutes.
