Terms and Conditions
1 Purchases exclude cash advances, the purchase of foreign currency or travellers cheques, balance transfers, interest and other charges. Purchases outside Germany earn 1 AAdvantage mile per equivalent 1€ in local currency purchases.
2 You will receive 5.000 AAdvantage bonus miles once you are approved for the Citi® / AAdvantage® Visa® Gold card. Please allow two to four weeks for AAdvantage bonus miles to appear on your AAdvantage account.
3 Passenger is responsible for any applicable taxes, fees and charges associated with travel awards of up to (a) USD $46-60 for U.S. domestic travel and (b) USD $70-$175 for international travel. AAdvantage award travel may include redemption of miles earned through purchases of goods and services. American Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection® service do not have restricted dates for award travel. Seats for award travel are limited, and may not be available on all flights. Flight awards are subject to AAdvantage program rules and restrictions.
4 A USD $15 fee applies to telephone reservations. In order to avoid additional fees, please ticket your reservation(s) at least 21 days in advance. Award reservations ticketed within 21 days of departure will incur a USD $50 or USD $100 AAdvantage Award Fee for the first award plus USD $25 for each additional award (regardless of when the reservation was placed on hold).
