The recommended check-in time for international flights is 2 hours in advance.

Getting There The city is served by a regular train, underground and bus service along with good road access to and from the airport.
  • By train
Germany has a modern and extensive rail network. Services include high speed InterCity Express (ICE) between major cities in Germany. The underground also serves the city.
  • By bus
There are a number of bus services available to and from the airport. There are bus stops outside Terminal 1, at the Arrivals Level and outside Terminal 2, at Level 2.
Bus services available between the airport and the following cities:
Darmstadt, Ruesselsheim, Schwanheim, Kelsterbach, Kelsterbach Frankfurt-Suedbahnhof, Zeppelinheim/Neu-Isenburg, Neu-Isenburg/Sprendlingen, Dietzenbach, Bahnhof, Moerfelden-Walldorf & Bad Homburg.
  • By car
Germany has an excellent network of major 'B' roads and motorways.
  • By taxi
A large number of taxis are available at both terminals around the clock. A trip to/from the centre of Frankfurt costs about 20€ and takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
