Founded in 1948 Club Baloncesto Estudiantes counts with 3 Copa del Rey de Baloncesto (Last time in year 2000, picture on left) and 1 Copa Príncipe de Asturias de Baloncesto within their honours, their european and local performance has always been notable. The club counts with one of the strongest support base within the country and is the only basketball team in Europe that has both male and female team players in their top leagues.
They also had some of the best players in Europe within their junior team and are famous for encouraging talent.
