Flight Awards on American Airlines
You can use your AAdvantage miles to fly to exciting destinations on American Airlines, American Eagle®, the AmericanConnection® carrier, or one of our AAdvantage participant airlines. You may use your miles for yourself or for anyone you designate* at the time of ticketing. The itinerary you choose determines the number of miles you need to use.**
Each award is valid for one-way travel unless otherwise specified. You can create the award itinerary that best meets your needs by combining multiple awards for each direction of travel.
AAnytime® Awards provide you with the most flexibility, allowing you to book any unsold seat on any day.
MileSAAver® Awards provide you with an economical alternative if you are flexible with your travel plans. These awards are subject to special limitations on seating availability and to travel embargo dates on some participant airlines.
