Note 1:
Passengers travelling from Dublin to Chicago can no longer pre-clear customs and immigration in Dublin. To avoid long delays, passengers must now clear customs and immigration in Chicago upon arrival. It is recommended that passengers check-in 3 hours prior to departure.

Note 2:
Following the Irish Governments decision to introduce an Air Travel Tax paid by passengers departing from an Airport in Ireland, American Airlines’ customers who have purchased tickets prior to 22 October 2008 for travel on or after 30 March 2009 will be required to pay the increased tax before flying. This will be collected when checking in or in advance through Reservations. Payment can be made by credit card or cash.

American greatly regrets the inconvenience that this retroactive tax will cause to customers who have already paid for their tickets before this tax increase.
