Effective July 29, 2010, American Airlines is enhancing the benefits available to our AAdvantage elite status members.
Waived AAdvantage Award Processing Charges*
AAdvantage Executive Platinum® members are already exempt from award processing charges for travel ticketed within 21 days of departure
when using miles from their account. We are now extending this benefit to our AAdvantage Platinum® and AAdvantage Gold® members, making
it even more rewarding to be an elite status member.
Waived Charges for Changing Flight Award Tickets and Reinstating Award Tickets
AAdvantage Executive Platinum members will be receiving additional benefits as well. Also effective July 29, 2010, award tickets issued from
an AAdvantage Executive Platinum member's account will be exempt from charges associated with eligible origin and destination changes to MileSAAver® tickets and from charges for reinstating wholly unused award
tickets.

* A $20 USD award ticketing service charge per person applies to AAdvantage award reservations ticketed by our reservations offices and a $30 USD
award ticketing service charge per person applies to AAdvantage award reservations ticketed by our Travel Centers or Airport Agents. This award ticketing
service charge is waived for AAdvantage Executive Platinum members.
