Using AAdvantage Miles
When you're ready to redeem your miles for a travel award, oneworld brings you more options than ever. In addition to the
"All Airline Partner Awards" which allow travel on all oneworld airlines as well as other AAdvantage participant airlines, customers needing to travel to multiple destinations with multiple stopovers on one trip can claim a oneworld award.

The oneworld multi-carrier awards are valid on American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malév Hungarian Airlines,Mexicana, Qantas Airways, and Royal Jordanian, as well as select affiliate airlines. The number of miles redeemed varies depending on the distance and class of service traveled. To determine the award for your travel plans, please call AAdvantage Reservations with your complete itinerary and one of our helpful service representatives will calculate the miles you are flying and advise you of the correct award to use.

Note: All flights to/from Cuba, Royal Jordanian flights to/from Iraq, and British Airways transatlantic flights between the U.S. and the U.K. are not eligible for mileage accrual or redemption.

Valid: All eleven oneworld carriers may be used on one award as long as the mileage and segment maximum is not exceeded (see distance range). Travel must include at least two oneworld partners other than American Airlines, American Eagle® or AmericanConnection®, and may not exceed 16 segments. The number of miles redeemed varies depending on the distance and class of service traveled. To determine the award for your travel plans, please call AAdvantage Reservations with your complete itinerary, and one of our helpful service representatives will calculate the miles you are flying and advise you of the correct award to use.

Routing: Members may fly up to 16 segments and may stop in each city once, but may not connect in the same city more than twice. Passengers may not stopover or connect in the city where travel originated. See complete
oneworld award routing and stopover rules.

oneworld Award Codes contain an "OW" for oneworld, the number of miles needed to claim the award (in thousands; for example 30 for 30,000 miles), and a letter code for class of service. For example OW30Y.

oneworld Global Products

The eleven oneworld member airlines work together to provide you with a range of products which make global travel easier and more rewarding. Whether traveling for business or leisure, we are confident you will find the right product for your regional adventure or around-the-world journey.

oneworld Explorer: An around-the-world product that offers exceptional flexibility and value. Prices are based on class of service (Economy, Business, or First) and, uniquely, the number of continents visited - rather than mileage of the overall trip. This keeps journey planning simple and flexible. Flights can be on any of the oneworld or affiliate airlines, covering over 700 destinations. oneworld Explorer is the obvious choice for anyone planning a global journey including travel "down under" with oneworld's Qantas, the only member of a global alliance operating a full domestic network within Australia.

Visit Passes: Offers multi-sector flights on any oneworld carrier in a specific continent. Visit passes offer a great value way to travel around a continent, and are a great value. oneworld is the only alliance to offer this sort of pass covering all six continents. Prices are based on the number of sectors purchased and the mileage of each sector.

Circle Atlantic: Our latest fare product for travel through and between Europe and the Middle East, North America, and South America.

Circle Explorer: Similar to oneworld Explorer, but does not require travel to North or South America, so you can fly halfway around the globe and then back again, without actually circumnavigating the planet (for example London-Hong Kong-Sydney-Johannesburg-London).

Circle Pacific: Another Explorer variant, this time for trips around the Pacific Ocean, covering Australia/New Zealand, Asia, and North and South America.

Circle Asia & South West Pacific: This fare offers great value and flexibility for multi-continent journeys circling this part of the world. This is an ideal option if your travel originates and terminates in Asia or South West Pacific. Fares are based on the total mileage of the journey and the class of travel.

businessflyer: Specifically discounted fares for medium and small sized companies, in return for a more frequent relationship with the oneworld alliance and its airlines, available in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. To learn more about businessflyer, visit oneworld.com* or contact your preferred travel professional.
