Hand luggage or cabin luggage allowed on board
Find out what you can take with you on board the aircraft to avoid any surprises. If you decide to travel alone with hand luggage, we recommend you obtain your boarding card from the online check-in.
Maximum dimension for hand luggage
The maximum size must be 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (115 cm), including handle, pockets and wheels. Also:
- It must fit the measuring supports available in the check-in areas
- It must fit the closed overhead lockers installed for this purpose, or below the passenger's seat.
- If your baggage is over size it will be taken from you at the boarding gate.

Luggage allowance on flights to/from London
* The aircraft used by Iberia Regional Air Nostrum are smaller than those used by Iberia, therefore the maximum weight allowance and size are lower.
**The US authorities report that, due to safety restrictions, all passengers travelling into/out of the US can only carry one piece of hand luggage and 1 other personal item on their outbound flights from US.
***On flights with origin, transfer or destination USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada this restriction only applies to the size of hand baggage (55cmx40cmx20cm)
Travelling with other airlines
If you are travelling on IB7XXX or IB5XXX, IB4XXX flights or flights operated by an airline other than Iberia or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, please check your hand luggage allowance with that airline before travelling.
