Getting from the airport
From Zurich Airport, travelers can reach downtown Zurich and nearby districts by public transit, taxi or rideshare, rental car or hotel shuttle.

The SBB Swiss Federal Railways runs frequent trains from the airport’s underground station to Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main station) in about 10-15 minutes. S2, S16 and S24 lines connect the airport with the city center and other local stops.
Many hotels offer shuttle service between Zurich Airport and their locations. Pickup zones are outside Arrivals 2; travelers should confirm shuttle schedules with their hotel.
Taxis and app-based rideshare services are available curbside outside Arrivals 1 and 2. American Airlines passengers typically arrive at Terminal 2, with pickup areas just outside the terminal doors.
