Employees may be added to your account as Authorized Users. An Authorized User is an employee or contractor of the business added to the card account with a card provided with that person’s name.

To add an Authorized User, log in to Citi.com, use the Citi® mobile app or Contact Citi® using the number on the back of your card.

No, there’s no fee to add an employee as an Authorized User to your card account.

New Authorized Users are automatically registered as business travelers with your AAdvantage Business℠ account.

Employees who are added as Authorized Users must have or open an AAdvantage® account in their own name and accept the AAdvantage Business℠ terms and conditions to be enrolled in the program and earn Loyalty Points. Use the travel management portal to add and manage travelers.

Once you add a traveler, they will receive an email to complete registration. If the link expires with no action from your employee, you can send another invitation from the travel management portal.

We recommend registering all your Authorized Users with the program to ensure they earn Loyalty Points on their eligible business card spend.

Once the Primary Cardholder registers you in the AAdvantage Business℠ travel management portal, you'll receive an email on how to register. Follow the instructions to complete your AAdvantage Business℠ profile. Once registered, you can start earning additional Loyalty Points on eligible business travel with American Airlines and purchases you make as an Authorized User on the credit card.

If you haven't received an invitation to join the AAdvantage Business℠ program, speak with your company's Primary Cardmember or Travel Manager.

You can manage or remove Authorized Users by contacting Citi or by logging in to your Citi account. Once they're removed from the credit card account, Travel Managers can remove the traveler (employee) from the business account in the travel management portal.
