AAdvantage® program benefits
You’ll earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points on American and Iberia marketed flights operated by LEVEL for Iberia.
To earn, you must:
- Buy an eligible published fare ticket in an eligible booking code
- Fly an eligible route
When you earn AAdvantage® miles for eligible travel on LEVEL, you’ll also earn Loyalty Points that count toward qualifying for AAdvantage® status.

Calculating miles based on ticket price
For travel on American marketed flights operated by LEVEL for Iberia, miles are earned based on ticket price (includes base fare plus carrier-imposed fees; excludes government-imposed taxes and fees). The more you spend, and the higher your AAdvantage® status, the more you'll earn.
- AAdvantage® member – 5 miles for every U.S. dollar
- AAdvantage Gold® member – 40% bonus
- AAdvantage Platinum® member – 60% bonus
- AAdvantage Platinum Pro® member – 80% bonus
- AAdvantage Executive Platinum® member – 120% bonus
Starting Nov. 21, 2025, travel ticketed on Iberia marketed flight numbers IB2600 – IB2699 for LEVEL earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points according to the Iberia mileage accrual chart. These flights now join all other Iberia-marketed flights that already earn miles and Loyalty Points toward AAdvantage® status.

Some fares may earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points based on a percentage of the distance flown instead of ticket price. This applies to special fares and situations where ticket or fare details aren’t available when your flight is posted.

AAdvantage® status benefits are not available on LEVEL flights.
